Strengthening Municipal Administration and Governance

The Corporate Services Directorate provides essential administrative and institutional support to ensure that uMlalazi Municipality operates effectively, efficiently and in accordance with its legislative responsibilities.

The Directorate supports a broad range of municipal functions, including secretarial services, typing services, archives, switchboard services, libraries, museums, urban halls, legal services, human resources, employment equity and outdoor advertising.

Town planning, tourism and business licensing functions have been transferred to the Planning and Development Department.
